My aim is to create a space that is adaptive to the present moment. You are the leader of the therapeutic journey, and I am happy to walk alongside you as we engage in the process. Whether it be in person or virtual, I am happy to work with you to find opportunities to grow.
By holding compassion, authenticity and curiosity with a dash of humor we will explore the difficulties of life and what kinds of changes you are looking to make. We will practice sitting within the past, present and future and holding thoughts and feelings without having them draw you into patterns that are no longer serving you. We will collaborate to build skills and practices that will help move you toward living a valued life, however that may look.
I work with people ages 13+ with anxiety disorders, depression disorders, adjustment difficulties and trauma histories. Prior to pursuing my Masters I spent nearly five years working in behavioral health spaces and this laid the foundations of my approach to therapy. I have used the last year to pursue a deeper understanding of health and healing, training in holistic approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Trauma informed care.
Please note that as a clinical intern there may be situations that are beyond my scope of practice, however if this occurs I will work to refer you to a qualified and competent replacement and provide transition services until further care is established.
“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.”
