I love to laugh and be playful! My superpower is connecting with children.

When I spend time with children in the playroom, I am always inspired by their inner resilience and ability to process and organize their world via the play and art materials around them. As a counselor, I play a role as a witness and a companion in this process. What a gift to be able to accompany a child on this journey, which leads to a greater understanding of themselves and others and a world that is a little less scary and confusing!

I firmly believe that parents play a crucial role in a child’s growth and success. Parenting isn’t easy, and I’m committed to empowering children and their families to cultivate healthy relationships and develop resilience as they navigate life’s challenges.

I’ve worked with youth 12 & under. My approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a spectrum of emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns. I am adept at implementing various modalities such as Child-Centered Play Therapy, Theraplay Therapy, and Relationship play therapy.

We can help a person to be himself by our own willingness to steep ourselves temporarily in his world, in his private feelings and experiences. By our affirmation of the person as he is, we give him support and strength to take the next step in his own growth.
