Life can feel overwhelming, and it’s okay to seek help when you’re feeling stuck. Using a strong therapeutic relationship, a wealth of encouragement, and a sprinkling of humor, I am here to walk with you through the pain that’s holding you back. As a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate (LMHCA) and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), I specialize in helping children, teens, and adults navigate the emotional challenges that arise from trauma and adverse experiences.

With nearly three years of counseling experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds overcoming struggles related to trauma, dissociation, harmful coping mechanisms, suicidality, disordered eating, emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, depression, and anxiety.

I utilize evidence-based techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and the Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework to support clients in processing past trauma and identifying harmful beliefs and patterns at their own pace. EMDR allows us to effectively reprocess distressing memories, while IFS techniques help clients integrate protective and conflicting parts of themselves, leading to greater emotional balance and self-awareness.

For children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), a creative approach that helps young clients express emotions, process difficult experiences, and develop coping skills in a way that aligns with their developmental stage. I collaborate with a child’s support system to create an encompassing treatment plan by consulting, as appropriate, with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals in their life. Through this process, I aim to create a warm, supportive space for children to grow and heal.

If you’re interested in seeking counseling with me for yourself or for your child, I’d love to schedule a short phone consultation to ensure I am the right fit for your needs. I look forward to partnering with you or your child as we navigate this journey toward emotional well-being together.
