I believe that building healthy and fulfilling relationships is the foundation of change in all areas of life. I work with both couples and individual clients in identifying and achieving personal and relational goals. In therapy we will work together to understand the struggles that a couple or individual client is facing and provide helpful tools to navigate them.
I am committed to creating a safe, honest, and collaborative therapeutic space with a dash of humor, where I encourage my clients to explore and challenge their negative patterns and beliefs to produce lasting changes. I incorporate several theories and modalities into my therapeutic practice including Client centered therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment Theory, and Psychodynamic Theory. Psychotherapy is not one-size-fits-all and I believe that each client has unique needs. I value a holistic approach to psychotherapy and aim to address the whole self—mind, body, and spirit.
I have found that once we understand why we do what we do, we can work to create new patterns that align with our true values and goals. I look forward to helping both couples and individuals to gain a helpful perspective on their complex inner world.
